| Mission statement | I strive to foster arts environments and experiences where people can connect, create, and celebrate. I prioritize building community, Social Emotional Learning, and honoring and celebrating students' ideas, collaboration, and creativity. I want youth to feel empowered to vocalize their own goals in an experience and be an active part of assessing their learning and growth on both an intrapersonal and interpersonal level. Laughter, joy, connection, safety, and bravery are values I treasure in any arts education experience I support or facilitate, and I believe that regardless of what the type of class is, the age range, or the focus, our work must center anti-racism, social justice, and transformative healing. |
