| Program Description | Theater, Visual Art - I have taught with a wide range of material and media. In theater I have used creative drama, story drama, performance development, and various embodied learning strategies to connect to classroom curriculum across many disciplines. Likewise, in visual art I have facilitated workshops with a variety of art materials including embroidery, painting, glass mosaics, and block printing. I have worked at museums and art centers that focus on modern and contemporary art, as well as at a museum focused on art from the Himalayan region – this broad base of experience allows me to be very flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs of a particular school or group of students and designing meaningful projects for all involved. |
